Studying Architecture in China

First crit due on Thursday. Can't believe it is time for the first crit already. So many things to get ready and printed, so little time. Nothing new then. Though we haven't got to the point of actually designing the building yet, all the preliminary stuff (site analysis, precedent case studies, massing models) has been taking up the majority of my time. Illustrator produced floor plans of Vertical Courtyard, a case study Presentation Presentation Presentation This is so important for me, and I am pleased to say that my Adobe Illustrator skills have improved dramatically over the summer. It was definitely worth putting the hours in over the summer to learn various softwares.

I am a student from the School of Architecture at the University of Liverpool, studying at Xi'an Jiaotong Liverpool University (XJTLU). The past month has been a huge transformation from my life in England and I am now well into my studies, enjoying the experiences afforded to me by this amazing region of China. The University is located in the Suzhou Industrial Park (S.I.P.)
